The perfect gift and the perfect presentation. Gift cards have become the “go to” choice for many occasions and Stampin’ Up! has a Gift Card Envelope Die that takes them from drab to divine!
I flipped this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO368) ninety degrees and popped the gift card in the open rectangle!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The Hello, Honey Cardstock is embossed with Stampin’ Up! Lucky Stars Embossing Folder, one of My Favorite Things from the Holiday Catalog.
- The sweet star pattern and the modern swirl on the back panel (behind the envelope) are from Santa & Co. Designer Series Paper. Learn how you can earn up to 6 packs of FREE Designer Series Paper when you purchase the $99 Starter Kit.
- The star (Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) was punched from Gold Glimmer Paper. I love how it boosts the “you did it” conviction and blends with the star motif.

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS STAMPIN’ PRETTY? Scott and I are headed by train today from Salamanca, Spain to Coimbra, Portugal. Sad to leave my daughter (what a wonderful reunion we had) but excited to continue our adventure. Be sure to visit my Stampin’ Pretty Facebook page for photos and updates. Ah, the makings of my Project Life album continue!

Janet . . . it’s the perfect size for a typical gift card. Approx. 4 x 2 3/4″. Hugs, M
We fell in love with Coimbra. Sorry you weren’t able to experience it. The streets felt like I stepped back in time . . . owners outside sweeping their steps, old buildings that had a charm of their own!
Hi Mary! I hope you all are having a glorious time in Spain and Portugal!
I had a question on the gift card holder. I wondered what the finished size was for the card holder itself? Thanks for your continued source of inspiration!!!
We just came back from Portugal a couple months ago! My husband was born and raised there, and his family still lives there. We go often, and stay in the Algarve, but this year we traveled to Coimbra and Porto. Unfortunately, we all caught a virus, so I only got a superficial look at Coimbra. What a beautiful country and beautiful people! Have fun!
Mary, this is fabulous! I love the idea of the gift card holder outside. I’ve enjoyed seeing your photos during the trip!
Mary
You are sooo creative how you turned the idea around!!!
I love it and will make it into a Christmas gift!!!
Thanks Nancy
Love how you flipped the sketch and what a fun card with the envelope on it.
I give a certain family member gift cards for all occasions because 1. He grows like a weed and I can’t keep track of his sizes and 2. Decades separate us not only in age, but in our tastes in practically all areas. He can get what pleases him and I get rewarded with a huge smile and a hug, which pleases me. Now I have a lovely way to present his next gift card. Thanks Mary.
