When it comes to sympathy cards, I believe a simple message and design is appropriate. I used the Stampin’ Up! Gifts of Kindness stamp set for today’s card. These sentiments know how to say “just the right thing.” Images below.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- To add a touch of 3D, I stamped the image a second time using Coastal Cabana ink on Coastal Cabana card stock. Each flower was paper snipped, petals “molded” a tad with my fingers and adhered with Glue Dots.
- I added Calypso Coral Buttons from Subtles Designer Buttons (they coordinate with Crisp Cantaloupe beautifully) and a touch of Natural Linen Thread for a polished look. Glue Dots keep the buttons in place.
- The Crisp Cantaloupe border was cropped with the Large Scallop Edgelits Die.
- The Gifts of Kindness stamp set has sentiments for card interiors, too.
