Am I allowed a switch to a new favorite Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper this week?  A papercrafter’s prerogative, right?  I’m currently nutso about Stampin’ Up! Flowerpot Designer Series Paper.  I purchased it at a savings during this month’s Buy 3 Designer Series Paper Packs, Get 1 FREE promotion. Once it arrived, I fell in love with the colors and sweet patterns,  perfect for card making.2014_PPA213My design foundation was this week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA213).  Try this sketch for yourself and join the challenge HERE!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • SNEAK PEEK.  The sentiment “believe” is from a future Stampin’ Up! host rewards set  (available later this year) called Good Greetings.  The set includes a variety of  sentiment essentials, all in this charming font!

  • Love that little banner frame?  I used Stampin! Banner Framelits Dies to produce it.  Simply crop the smallest size first.  Then line up the larger size (the Stampin’ Up! Magnetic Platform is your “best friend” for this) and crop again.  Bits of Stampin’ Dimensionals give it a 3-D effect.  Would you like a quick WOW! video on this?  Please leave me a comment below.
  • Another fabulous stripe print from Flower Pot Designer Series Paper was used to line the envelope.  Stampin’ Up! makes it easy with Envelope Liners Framelits Dies.
