  1. You are super generous, Mary! I visited an old friend on Black Friday while traveling home from spending Thanksgiving with family. So no stamping for me and no shopping which was great!

  2. Can’t deal with the traffic, crazy people and long lines on Black Friday so I say stamping in my quiet, warm, bright stamping room would be delightful!

  3. Sad to say shopping on the computer. I haven’t gone out shopping on Black Friday since I was much younger.

  4. Neither, unfortunately! Looking at tackling the remainder of the T-Day mess in the kitchen!

  5. I guess technically we shopped, although it wasn’t black Friday shopping. I am not getting up at 4 am to go stand in line in the cold!

  6. I NEVER go shopping on Black Friday, I use to work retail. I stay as far away as I possibly can. I will be starting my Christmas cards.

  7. OMG! Those are awesome bundles. Would like to get my hands of some of them. Just finished creating beautiful xmas tags and cards for an event. I had my mother-n-law, my husband and my daughter helping me. It was so much fun!

  8. Hi Mary,
I will be doing a little of both today and throughout the weekend. Thanks for the Blog Candy opportunity.

  9. Black Friday I was with family. We ate, played games, ate, then ate some more….I think football was on TV. I don’t see family often….it was wonderful.

  10. Neither. 🙁
I have family over visiting until Wednesday. After that I am a free woman and I can’t wait to get out my stamps. It’s like I am on withdrawal or something.
    🙂

  11. I will be stamping, don’t like fighting the crowds. Thanks for the opportunity to play along in your contest. I enjoy your blog post every day.

  12. No time for stamping or shopping; my niece is performing in the Nutcracker and the show has become a family tradition.

  13. Neither and it is driving me nuts! I have family over visiting and am playing happy hostess. They go home soon and then I will be back at it and smiling.
    🙂

  14. A little of both, but mostly spending time with my family. My boys are home for a few days, so we are spending the time together.

  15. I do not ever shop on Black Friday. There are too many bargains on other days wh en it’s not so crowded. I was stamping my Christmas cards.

  16. Hi Mary,
For black friday I am working hopefully stamping after work
thanks for the opportunity to win some really nice things!

  17. I was planning on doing shopping and a little stamping, but ended up sick in bed all day. Didn’t make either, I was so upset. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win such a wonderful gift. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  18. Shopping today, but normal hours, not the crazy middle of the night stuff. I can say, I’d much prefer to stamp any day!!!

  19. I did stamping with my nieces! We made some ornaments that they loved and are so excited to put on their tree. Stamp images, color them, cut with a 2.5 inch circle punch, and glue them inside a juice can lid. Add a little glitter and maybe a slightly larger die cut from glimmer paper for the back and they really are lovely on the tree. Much better than fighting Black Friday crowds!

  20. I try to get my family cards out by the 2nd week in December. I hand deliver my friends and neighbors.
    Thanks,
    Bonnie

  21. On Friday, I’m staying at home. I really don’t like to fight the crowds and shop, especially now that I am in a wheelchair. It’s just a little to overwhelming to do that these days. I am enjoying being with my family and hoping to do a little crafting after the “Turkey Coma” wears off.
    Thanks,
    Bonnie Russell

  22. A little bit of both! Got some shopping done early and will be relaxing in front of some holiday movie at night while stamping and crafting. Thanks for the chance to win. Good luck to everybody!

  23. Totally stamping. Have never gotten into the whole Black Friday thing – to me that is not what Christmas is about.

  24. I shopped a bit…maybe an hour on Friday…no stamping on that day, unfortunately. Happy Holidays to all!

  30. I will be traveling home to PA from Hilton Head, SC, so will not be stamping. Maybe I’ll be able to do a little internet shopping.

  31. I’ll be stamping, AND shopping, but only shopping internet for I don’t like the contact sport happening at the brick & mortor stores. Inside of me, I feel like a giddy lil’ girl because of pent-up excitement. I have not one! Not one of the sets in your generous Day 1 give-away.

  32. Just visiting with family for the holiday. Thank you for a chance to win some blog candy! Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving!

  33. I did both. The shopping was only because I had to buy a birthday gift for my nephew, just in and out for the one item he wanted.

  34. Maybe I will check out some online shopping, but not heading out to any stores. I plan to visit with some friends too, so stamping will be put off to another day. Thanks for all the wonderful candy you are ready to give out. 🙂

  35. I would love to be stamping, however have family up for Thanksgiving so I won’t be able to. I do card making almost everyday.

  47. So I did some stamping on my neighbor gifts (gift tags) on Black Friday. I don’t shop on Black Friday. Too crazy and hectic. I stamped a little. All the male relatives went out target shooting. The girls got together and visited, etc… Just a nice relaxing day!

  48. Sadly, I was grading on Black Friday — the life of a teacher. I’ve often joked that holiday breaks should be called “Teacher catch-up breaks,” because that’s what most of I and my colleagues do! Only two more weeks until the end of the semester and then I will be a stamping fool!

  49. I am hoping to get my had made cards out this week. I like to decorate and get all of my cards sent out the first of December.

  50. I am hoping to get my homemade cards in the mail this week. Like to get the house decorated and the cards sent the first week of December.

  58. Just a little online shopping as we been moving and we have to use the extra day to unpack.

  61. Both! Finishing up Christmas cards and its tradition to go out on Black Friday even though I never need anything, it’s just fun to go out.

  62. Thank you for a Blog Candy dandy, Mary! It appears it’s quite popular 😉 On Black Friday, I avoided the crowds and took to my comforting craft corner courting creative and curative creations!

  63. I wanted to stamp but the promise of great sales dragged me into the stores. And I did find some bargains.

  64. I did one online transaction. I stamped on Thanksgiving Day with my favorite little stamp buddy and babysat another favorite on Friday, which left no time for either activity!

  65. I avoid the stores. This year we spent the holiday with family so I stamped with my 5 year old granddaughter. Fun!

  84. I was out of town and just now getting a chance to answer….spent Black Friday shopping with my 9 yr. old granddaughter so she could spend her birthday money from the day before. Fought the crowds, but spending time with her was priceless!

  85. I had to work but after a long work day I hung out with one of my friends and we did some stamping.

  170. Have not started my cards yet this year but lots of shopping is already done and wrapped. Must get to those cards!!!!

  171. I’m doing a little of both. My mom and I always shop together on Black Friday morning. Just another time for us to spend time together. Stamping in the afternoon, an addiction that I must do each day. A way to unwind at the end of the day.

  172. Spending the day with my son, daughter in law 2 grandsons and 2 great grandsons, and daughter and dreading the 6 hour ride back home to North Mississippi tomorrow.
But enjoying today with the part of my family.
NO Black Friday shopping for me don’t like the crazy crowds will let the finger do the shopping on cyber MOnday from the comfort of my recliner. LOL

  173. I will get started on my Christmas cards and maybe get some shopping on line done

  174. I will get started on my Christmas cards and maybe get some shopping on line done

  175. I will get started on my Christmas cards and maybe get some shopping on line done

  176. I will be out and about shopping. I will be too tired at the end of the day for stamping.

  177. I stamped, shopped, picked up my order from my demonstrators home and went home and had fun. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.

  178. I did both! Shopped on line for some great deals for my daughters upcoming Bridal Shower, and finished her invitations for it! Stamped of course. lol

  179. Shopping – I try to get it done and enjoy time with friends and family the rest of the season!

  180. I’m stamping for sure. Our Christmas cards are almost finished. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity, Mary.

  181. Shopping for sure, but I did buy some stamping stuff. Thanks for a chance to win!

  182. My favorite Thanksgiving leftover is the turkey!!! So many ways to use up the leftovers, I always make a very large turkey to ensure that there are enough leftovers!!!

  183. I will definitely be stamping since I have two Thank You notes to send to our kids who had us for Thanksgiving. After that, I will get back to making some Christmas cards.

  184. Unfortunately-I will be washing tablecloths, putting away the good dishes, taking down the Fall decorations and then hopefully sneaking in a nap.

  185. Black Friday is a day for me to just relax after cooking Thanksgiving dinner. I stamp and usually get my Christmas cards prepared for mailing. If I do any shopping, it’s online, as I don’t leave my house on that crazy day!

  186. Made my one purchase on Black Thursday, and spent all day stamping on black Friday!! (other than an oil change, and a few groceries.) Love your Wow’s and thank you for all your talents that you willingly share!!

  187. Never shop on Black Friday!!! Will study the blogs for cute stampin ideas, though!!! Can’t stamp because of out of town family— surely would like to!!!!!???happy Thanksgiving, Mary!!!

  188. Nothing but stamping for me pretty much everyday this weekend! Have a great day!

  189. Stamping, cooking, shopping, sharing times with friends—wow, a busy day for me. 🙂

  190. I’m getting some shopping done today with my daughter and 8 month old granddaughter! We’re having lots of fun and teaching my granddaughter how to shop! 🙂

  191. Stamping today and playing with the super fun Blendabilities! Thanks for a chance to win your amazingly generous Blog Candy 🙂

  192. A little shopping on line and a little stamping also. Such wonderful gifts you have put under the tree for someone to win Mary. Good luck everyone!

  193. I am stamping and enjoying our family’s visit. We also took the kids to a museum and out for late lunch. Thank you for a chance to win the candy blog. Hoping your Thanksgiving was wonderful.

  194. Neither, spent the day out of town with husband and our son. Went to a play, then watched the Badger ladies win the Big 10 Championship!

  195. Shopping today. It is a log standing tradition with my mom and I we really enjoy it!
    Mindy

  196. A little shopping, cleaning, pitting Thanksgiving away and getting ready for Christmas decor! I received the first Christmas card today and I haven’t designed ours yet?

  197. No shopping for me. I fractured my tibial 3 1/2 weeks ago (washing outside windows) and cannot put any weight on my left leg. So wheel chair is my mode of transportation with the help of my loving husband. I can do stamping if I sit on a bar stool and once I have all my supplies within reach. (ha ha) Always forgetting something that is on the other side of the room. Walker comes in handy for that purpose. House feels like a senior citizen facility (wheelchair, walker, crutches, shower bench) the only thing missing is the “commode” next to the bed.
Thank you for your talented inspiration. Love your daily blog and thankful for your generous “blog candy”. Have a great week.
    Thanks again.

  198. I went shopping at one store – AC Moore Arts/Crafts – got some sequins for some shaker cards I want to make….and some Christmas gifts for two of great nieces….then went to my craft ‘studio’ (aka the basement – LOL) and made 10 more of our 2014 Christmas cards! All while simmering the turkey carcass for making turkey noodle soup tomorrow!!!!

  199. Still feeding friends and family-and being thankful for them all 🙂 Took a bit of time to do some on-line window shopping 🙂 Now, organizing my work area for some stamping fun and making ornaments 🙂 Thank you for all you share Mary 🙂

  200. My daughter is in town so we will shop in the late morning and then I have to start packing up my stamping supplies because construction on my new craft room starts on Tuesday!!! I’m so excited I could burst?. Happy Leftover Turkey Day!

  201. I went to one store at the mall at my Mom’s request. And then the grocery store. Twice! Lol

  202. I should be stamping or shopping but instead I’m teaching my daughter how to make fudge. I’ll teach her to stamp some gift tags tomorrow!

  203. I have been shopping all day with my sister, a tradition for many years. If I can get enough ambition to get to my craft room, I will work on finishing up my Christmas cards. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  204. No shopping or stamping. I went out of state to visit my sister. That is the best, she went shopping, but I didn’t want to go. thanks for having blog candy.

  210. Today I am neither stamping or shopping. Given the choice I would definitely choose stamping, but I am grateful to just be relaxing with my wonderful hubby, our dogs and our little one!

  211. I did a little shopping in person and on line. I only went to three stores and I didn’t even start until about 10:30 in the morning.

  213. I am stampin’ today. Making cards for a card exchange I do with two girlfriends. We mail each other four new card ideas per month. Love all your ideas.

  214. Wow, I lot of comments already! Mary, thanks for the chance to win this great “Blog Candy”! Thank you for your generosity! I don’t shop on Black Friday, I usually spend extra time on the computer looking all sorts of fun stuff. Don’t think I’ll get to stamp today.

Blessings to you and your family.

  215. I do not go out on Black Friday but I did place my usual BBW online order is all. No stamping for me today just cleaning and laundry from my college kids. Thank you for the blog candy. 😉

  216. Cleaning!!! I need to part from the items I had to have when I saw them BUT never used when I got them home. I will be donating them to an organization in AZ.

  217. I am finished with 95% of my Christmas shopping. I really am not a shopping fan, so I whittle away at shopping over the long haul. I did have several errands to run for some handyman fixes, but returned in good time to work on Christmas cards. I suppose you think I am highly organized for having all my Christmas” stuff done, but that is not the case. When the creative bug hits, I heed the call and nearly everything else gets put aside! Oh what a mess!

  218. A little shopping and now time for stamping. It’s snowing here and it looks so pretty outside. It certainly gets you in the Christmas Spirit!!!!!! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  219. Hi Mary, I would so like to win but have not ever winning. It’s fine cuz somebody has got to win and someone has got to win.. But..it’s fun to see who wins. Mary I love your Blog. 220. Definitely not shopping. I hate all the crowds. Unfortunately not stamping either. Dealing instead with some children “issues”. Stamping is where my heart is though, for sure, not shopping.

  221. No Stamping today – but was putting away some newly received stamps – received several items that needed to be put on the shelf so worked on that. Yes, I did do some shopping as well.

  222. Just stamping for me! Would rather spend a relaxing day in the craft room creating something pretty than risking my life in the shopping insanity that goes on anymore.
Thanks for your wonderful blog Mary..you are a great inspiration!

  223. I am stamping and winding down today as we had a big day yesterday. Used to fight the crowds but decided online is the way to go. Making a last minute birthday card for a birthday today!

  234. Shopped earlier and this evening I am working with a group of seniors at an assisted living facility, helping them make Christmas cards to send to their friends and family. Best of both worlds today!

  235. How I wish I was stamping all day today instead of hitting the stores to start and almost finish my Christmas shopping, but tomorrow and Sunday is all mine and my stamping. Would love to win What is Under the Tree. What a great Christmas present that would be.

  244. I am checking out Stampin Pretty every day while I am out of town to keep in touch with my stamping hobby! Devoting my time to family fun!

  245. Thanks so much for the chance to win! I didn’t shope, except for a few groceries. Stamped a little, but had a bad case of stamper’s block!

  411. Hi Mary.
I look for your Stampin Pretty emails everyday and enjoy casing a lot of your examples. I went to one of my grandaughter’s yesterday for Thanksgiving. Using the curvy box die, I made a turkey for her and one for her husband. They looked really cute as part of her centerpiece. I don’t know if it’s an ego thing or not, but for me, it’s nice to think that when I’m gone…some of my ‘creations’ will be cherished by others and possibly bring a smile to their face if they think about me.
Thank you for giving me many relaxing, stress free and just plain enjoyable moments.
Happy Holidays to you and your family.
    Marianne OHara from Raleigh, NC

  535. All 42 Christmas cards…four different designs, are completed ,addressed, stamped and ready to post….now I need to clean the craft room.

  536. I will be visiting family..however have done some online shopping..way better then fighting the crowds. Thank you for your inspirational projects and directions. Happy holidays.

  537. I am addressing my hand stamped Christmas cards to send them out on Saturday.
I have my letters to put inside done early this year. This is quite impressive for me. Lol

  538. I have to work today so I won’t be shopping at stores but maybe a little online shopping. No stamping for me today.

  539. I’m preparing for my Holiday Open House so will spend the next week in my stamping studio!!! I always check your blog for great ideas & tips!! Thanks for sharing!!

  540. I never stop stamping or shopping for my stamping. My hubby is getting tired of me having only stamping things on my wish list:) Your give aways for just Day 1 are wonderful… as are your stamping creations!

  541. I’ll do a little shopping – only because I work a retail shift this morning. Then back to clean off my stamping space and start on Christmas cards and 3-d’s. Your site is what I check first thing every morning so I start each day with something fun.

  542. I’m visiting my in-laws (400 miles away from my crafting supplies) so I will be doing a lot of visiting and a little shopping rather than crafting. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! Have a safe trip home!

  543. We just moved so I’m organizing my stamping space. I did shopping once on Black Friday and that was enough for me.

  544. Stamping for me. After all the hurry scurry of yesterday, I am hiding away in my craft room and taking the day for me.

  545. I will be shopping at Michaels and Home Depot to make a craft supply chest for my 4 year old grandson. Then home for some stamping fun.

  546. Would love to try out all of that Blog Candy!! Thank you for a chance at your giveaway but I am most grateful for the time and talent that you have shared with us! GOD Bless & more power to you!

  547. I will do some stamping for sure! Have had a house full of company and now….its time for me to relax and play with my stamps/cards.
