Pals Guest Stamper: Jan Forton

Aug blog 1
Pretty in pink?  Absolutely.  Jan Fort0n, a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals Community (her direct upline is Debra Simonis) and today’s guest stamper, has creatively combined color, texture and simple elements.  I especially love the trio of thank yous, stitched ribbon and pop of brads.  The striped texture of the Crumb Cake adds a rustic charm when mixed with two muted shades of pink and linen thread.  She even jazzed up the envelope flap for a truly elegant presentation.

Get two different looks from the same basic supplies!  For full details on this project as well as a chance to see Jan’s clean and simple (5 minute) version of this card using similar supplies, please check out JAN’S BLOG.  Please be sure to leave her a comment when you visit!

  1. Wow…I love it! The color combination is awesome! I so love how you did the tag and the layering. The candy dot brads are the perfect added touch. The envelope is really neat! So very nicely done! Thank you Mary and Jan for sharing.

  2. This is beautiful Jan. I love the color combination. The thank you tag reminds me of a tiny door knob hanger. So cute!
