It’s a Girl . . . and a Boy! Label Card Thinlits & Video!

One of the really intriguing aspects of an interactive (flip) card is what I call the “pause” factor.  With today’s card, you’ll see the baby girl “congrats” transition (or “pause”) into a twin baby girl and boy card.  I was thrilled to use the Stampin’ Up! Label Card Thinlits Dies to celebrate the twins recently born to Naki Rager, a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals Community!

Flip-a-roo!  Woo hoo, it’s two!

I used the Envelope Liners Framelits Die to create a coordinating envelope.  See my Envelope Liner Framelits Die Video Tips.

I did a quick “show and tell” style video to give you a better perspective on the interactive nature of this card design.

  1. Hi there! I love this card so much that I want to make one too. I am having trouble with the DSP and the white card stock linings. How do you get the cutouts and the 1/4″ border? Do you run them back through the bigshot and the die? Thanks for your help! ~trayce

  4. Mary, What a super lovely card!!!! Love it – a friend of mine is a recent grandmother of twin girls and I wish I had your great idea and the thinlits to make the beautiful baby card at the time of their births. Note: Please add the stars stamp set to your supplies list, since they do make the stars look extra special on this card. Thanks again for sharing a super card. Always love your “One Minute to Wow!” videos. Have a super day.
