Today's Secret Garden sympathy card easily could work as a birthday or thank you card with a simple switch of sentiment.  You'll get the same crisp results when stamping and cropping the flowers using the Secret Garden stamp set and coordinating framelits dies from the Stampin' Up! STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

• Here are the details for this creative fold.  Start with a 4 1/4 x 11" piece of card stock.  Using a Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score and fold at 2 3/4" and  5 1/2".

• I added panels of patterned paper (Stampin' Up! Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack), sized 1/4" smaller than the card base sections.  The sentiment "for your loss" is tucked into the center panel.

• I left my ribbon tails a little longer so that the card can be easily retied.

• Dressing up an envelope flap with coordinating paper looks so polished.  Watch my video for quick tips on adding designer series paper to an envelope flap.

A "More Amore" Valentine Card for My Mom

Today's card evolved from a clever, new Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO278), fresh colors and pretty patterns from Stampin' Up! More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The patterns mix and match with perfection--a real time saver for me. 

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

• Snip, snip!  The valentine heart was clipped from the laser cut heart sheets in the More Amore Collection.

• I added a rhinestone to the center of the crystal button (Artisan Embellishments Kit) for even more sparkle.

• My Pool Party card base measures 5 1/4" square.  I created a coordinating envelope using the Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate.  It's simple.  Here's My Measuring Chart for whipping up many sizes of common envelopes.

• Heart layer 3 1/4" square.  Real Red 3 1/2" square.  Oval Pattern 4" square.

Isn't this a classic valentine?  The look is crisp and refined.  It was created by Penny Nichols, a member of my Stampin' Pretty Pals, and today's guest stamper. ALL CLEAR!  I'm so sorry that some of you received a warning yesterday when you tried to click on the link to yesterday's post.  My Stampin' Pretty Blog wasn't the issue nor was it unsafe . . . instead, the culprit was a badge/link on my side bar for Stamping Top 50 that I have had for years.  The badge and any connection to Stamping Top 50 was removed and you shouldn't get the warning any more.  Thank you for the heads up from many of you.

Crisis averted! Some of you may have received a warning today when you attempted to open my Stampin' Pretty blog update in your email.  Thank you to those that emailed me a "heads up" about the warning (not everyone got it).

In checking further, I have determined that the culprit is the Stamping Top 50 site.  If you go directly to the Stamping Top 50 site (DON'T), there's a warning that the site may harm your computer.  Simply having the badge and link on the sidebar of my blog generated the warning.  I have removed the badge/link from my sidebar (which has been there for years) and everything is working fine and safe :)

Henry Says is "Unforgettable!"

I created these simple valentines for the wee ones in my family.  They have a cross country trip ahead of them along with yummy treats from Auntie Mary!  The Henry Says stamp set (Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog) offers this sweet elephant and a variety of sayings. 

OK . . .  Henry became "Henrietta" for the little girls (plus bling)!  Paper Snips were my secret weapon in cutting out the elephant.  They navigate those curves with ease!

Patterned Paper can be adorable when stamped with line images.  I used Stampin' Up! More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper for the card above!

A Very Special Stampin' Up! Invitation

I wanted to share with you this beautiful card Stampin' Up! created as an invitation to the Advisory Board Reunion Lunch. 

The card base was created in one step using the Stampin' Up! Card Base Pop 'n Cuts Die (130099).  The die works with the new Dress Form Pop 'n Cuts (130100) in the Spring Catalog (p. 32).  However, it looks lovely "solo," too!

Very cool how the corners tuck in . . . all attributed to the die.

We had lunch at a wonderful Cuban Restaurant in Orlando.  Our menus were inside the long envelope.  Isn't the sunflower (Sunflower Stamp:  Wood-Mount 123606, Clear-Mount 123608) striking?
