Where cards are King! Brian King, a member of my Stampin' Pretty Pals (his direct upline is Pam Morris), shares his clean, balanced paper crafting style with you today. My eye goes straight to the "marbled" background (keep reading for how he did it) and the way he used die cuts to give drama to the sentiment.
Brian's Notes: I tea-stained the Very Vanilla card stock on this 5" x 5" card, which gives it a beautiful marbelized effect. After making a cup of tea over the weekend, I set the tea bag aside to cool a bit and then tapped it onto the card stock. It was that easy! The card stock curled up a bit as it dried, so I had to secure it to my card front with Sticky Strip. I also played around with the Apothecary Accents Framelits to layer this border around the sentiment.
Stamp sets: Tea Shoppe Paper: Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla Inks: Early Espresso Accessories: Scallop Square Bigz Clear, Apothecary Accents Framelits, 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (Early Espresso), Stampin' Dimensionals, 3/16" Corner punch, Sticky Strip
