This simple card is the platform for another creative way to display Perfect Poppies background stamp (image below), new in the Stampin' Up! 2012-2013 Annual Catalog. It's available in both wood and clear-mount. I used it previously on this card and feel like I have only begun to explore the possibilities.
The latest Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA137) was the foundation for today's card. The sketch came from the imagination of Margaret Moody, a member of my Stampin' Pretty Pals. Please be sure to check out the rest of the PPA Design Team's card ideas for inspiration and play along.
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- The Naturals Designer Buttons add a simple, organic touch. Use Stampin' Up! Glue Dots to keep them in place.
- Lacy & Lovely stamp set offeres three sophisticated sentiments, including this "Thank You."
- The 3 1/2" Circle Originals Die was used (along with my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine) to produce the largest circle. I cut first and then stamped it with the Perfect Poppies image.
- Very Vanilla 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon completes the look (and stays true to the sketch) without overpowering the poppies.
