Punches are my most adored paper crafting tool. The quick and perfect shapes they produce are marvelous for creating patterns. I saw a really interesting card at the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Leadership Conference that inspired me to create the pattern on today's card using the 1" Square Punch.
I whipped up a coordinating Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper envelope with my Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate. Here's my formula for creating an envelope that accommodates today's 5" x 3 1/2" notecard:
- Cut designer series paper (I used Summer Smooches) to 6 3/4" square.
- Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate, score two lines on the designer series paper on opposite sides at 2 5/8" and score two lines at 3 3/4" for the remaining 2 opposite sides. Watch this Stampin' Up! Video for more tips.
