Simple Masculine Birthday Card

I was in a bit of a panic last Friday when I realized I hadn't made a card for my husband's birthday on Saturday.  After taking a deep breath, I grabbed Julee Tilman's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge for today to whip up a very simple masculine card.  Click and scroll for more of my Stampin' Up! STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • I adore those little gifties in the birthday stamp image (Hostess Rewards Happiest Birthday Wishes).  I inked the entire stamp with a Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad.

  • Next, I used a Stampin' Up! Blender Pen to remove the Chocolate Chip Ink from the rubber of the left and right gifts.  They were re-colored with Pool Party and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers.  Watch my 1 Minute to WOW Video Tutorial to see this Blender Pen "Eraser" Trick.
