Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake combine for a masculine appeal on today’s card. Click here and scroll through more of my masculine card ideas. A simple change of colors and this card would be perfect for any birthday!
- Crumb Cake card stock was cut to 4 1/4″ x 9 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″. I used a 3/16″ Corner Punch to curve the corners of the cropped section.
- I love making patterns with punched shapes. I cropped Chocolate Chip card stock with the Stampin’ Up! Small Oval Punch. It would be just as interesting to use circles, flowers or hearts.
- SNEAK PEEK: The bold “Celebrate” sentiment is from Outlined Occasions stamp set, available FREE during the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration Promotion. Starts Jan. 24.

Hey Mary, just found you in the 2009 Stamping magazine! You had a profie done at that time for SU. Nice job. Plus on your blog here u did great work on the tutorial, ty. Plus all your cards are done the way I like to do mine, simple but elegant (if possible). SU products are top notch and I have loved them for over ten years. Was a demo for about two years but found our area saturiated with demos. I really miss it. So glad I found your blog. Keep up the great work. evette k.
Great card Mary. Ordered the Oval punch from you a while ago and am so glad to have it. Have used it often in different ways. Seems like it just “fits” when I’m looking for that little extra something. Now this card gives me still another way to use the punch. Love to have ideas for masculine cards. Thanks Mary.
Hi Donna
I start with the corners and eyeball from there 🙂
Hugs, M
What a lovely card! I have a bunch of those ovals sitting around….. THanks, Mary!!
Mary–Love all your cards–but especially those using punches–how do you line them up so perfectly? Thanks.
Donna
Very nice card, Mary! Using punches makes card making quick and fun. And, for some reason, I’m on a cajun craze kick here. Love that color!
Wonderful design..TFS!
I love the “fold” of the card!!! Great idea – thank you for sharing (once again) and wonderful card!!
Hi Linda: They DO look a bit like circles . . . but they are definitely wide and short ovals, created with the Stampin’ Up! Small Oval Punch. Hugs, Mary
Mary, it says ovals but they look like circles. Maybe I just haven’t had enough coffee yet. Anyways it is an awesome card!
Handsome masculine card! I may CASE this one for an upcoming male birthday.
