Stampin up sale-a-bration happy moments

Stampin pretty happy moments birthday presents Ready for a fun and pretty color challenge?  The Pals Paper Arts Team has been inspired this week by the combination of Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Soft Suede (PPA20).  To see the latest PPA Design Team inspiration samples and play along (with a chance at a stash of Stampin' Up! blog candy), CLICK HERE.

Today's card introduces more groovy new products from  the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Mini Catalogs (available for customer order Jan. 5).  For all my sneak peeks in one place, CLICK HERE.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up clear block happy moments stamp I love the Old Olive Polka Dot paper on the far left.  There's even a wee piece popped up on the middle present.  The Occasions Mini offers both these patterns in the Sweet Pea Paper Stack, 48 sheets of double sided Designer Series paper in a variety of colors and fresh designs.
  • I combined the "happy birthday" sentiment and the trio of presents from Happy Moments on a single clear block.  Are you seeing the advantages of Stampin' Up!'s Clear Mount Stamps (available Jan. 5)?  Click here for more benefits of Stampin' Up!'s new Clear Mount Stamps.
  • Delicious ribbon is one of my passions.  The Occasion Mini promises nine Stampin' Up! coordinated colors in satin.  I used Old Olive on this card.
  • Don't miss my peek at the new Sending Love Epoxy Brads on the Boho Blossoms Flowers.  Charming epoxy patterns will be ready for Valentine's Day in Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink.  You'll want all three choices!
  • Cool Idea!  The new clear mount storage containers (DVD sized) offer all the images on the front and tiny versions on the "binding."  Great for easy organization and location of sets.  See sample at the end of this post.
  • The fastest envie flap in the west . . . . Just adhere a strip of designer series paper to an envelope flap and cut off the edges with a paper trimmer.  You'll need additional adhesive when it's time to seal but this is a zippy way to add polish to your handmade cards!

  6. Very nice šŸ™‚ Loving the new Sweet Pea DP…Do you know until when the last year catalog is valid?

Hi Banu: The “big” catalog (Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalog 2009/2010) is good for a year. It ends June 30. The current Holiday Mini Catalog ends Jan. 4. Hugs, Mary

  7. Love it! I’m ready for spring. You, however, must still be pining for the 15 inches of snow you missed yesterday and the sub-zero temps. Good snowball fight, eh?
Love the color combo and, as always, you smacked the challenge!

Hi Karren: I have heard from several family members back in Madison. Of course, we reminded them it was in the mid-60’s here. LOL. Although I miss the initial beauty of the snow, the deep freeze that’s following the snow just isn’t for me šŸ™‚ Hugs, M
