Pals Paper Arts 16: Christmas Cheer

Ho Ho Ho!  Need a nudge to get your holiday cards in gear?  The Pals Paper Arts Design Team centers today's Thursday challenge on Christmas Cheer (PPA16).   Plus there is BLOG CANDY!!! 

I chose the stamp set "Just Beclause" (be sure you don't miss the pun) from the Holiday Mini Catalog for my interpretation of the challenge.  It has a fun, retro feel but worked perfectly with the traditional style of the Christmas Cocoa Designer Series Paper (Holiday Mini Catalog) I used (4 different patterns for these projects--woo hoo!).

 STAMPIN' PRETTY TIP:  The Stampin' Up! Oval Punches nest perfectly together for the sentiment on this 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card (A2).

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

• Did you notice that the Simple Snowflake stamp (p. 208 of the Catalog) coordinates impeccably with the Jumbo Snowflake Punch?

• FYI:  The Jumbo Snowflake Punch takes some elbow grease to squeeze.  The trade off is extraordinary detail!

• The sentiment was cropped with a Designer Label Punch.  This fits neatly inside the Styled Silver Label Holder from Stampin' Up! Hodgepodge Hardware.

• For an added pop, I replaced the center ornament with a red Circle Rhinestone Brad.

• This 3" x 3" card will tuck neatly into Stampin' Up!'s  3 1/8" x 3 1/8" Whisper White Mini Square Envelopes (107309).
