I hope to brighten an ill aunt's day with these die cut daisies in rich fall colors. If you are a regular reader, you know how much I love fashion and home décor magazines for inspiration. The patterned chair (below) from a Crate and Barrel catalog got the creative juices flowing.
The card base is 4 1/8" x 5 3/8, scored on the top. It's slightly smaller than a standard A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") card so that I could allow the daisies to "overflow" on the sides but still fit in an A2 sized envelope.
- Layering die-cut shapes creates a quick and colorful background.
- I use Stampin' Dimensionals on almost every card. 3D can take a simple card to wow.
- A single rounded corner and Jumbo Brads make an elegant statement on on the sentiment.
