How about some Organic Mojo today? Stampin' Up!'s Organic Outlines is destined for retirement on June 30. Gone will be these fun and funky stamp images that I have used on many of my favorite cards. This week's Mojo Monday Sketch (MOJO91) pulled me out of my A2 card comfort zone. My Whisper White card base measures 4 1/4" x 7 1/2".
- It's topped with Stampin' Up!'s new Crushed Curry Textured card stock on top and Soft Suede on the bottom. Both colors will be available with the release of the new Stampin' Up! 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog on July 1. Reserve your copy now!
- I inked the line image in Soft Suede and stamped it on Soft Suede card stock before adhering to the card base.
- Each flower was dipped in Crushed Curry and stamped on Whisper White. They gained their independence with a little help from my Paper Snips. Snips get into every little nook.
- The largest of the Circle Rhinestone Brads (Ice) was added to the flower centers. TIP: Craft & Rubber Scissors easily snip off the brad "legs" so they aren't exposed.
- TIP: Mini Glue Dots hold each flower securely when they are attached to Bermuda Bay card stock.
- Mats in Crushed Curry and Soft Suede follow.
- The vertical panel is a piece of Bermuda Bay Textured card stock with 2 corners cropped using a Corner Rounder Punch. TIP: Stampin' Up!'s In Color Textured card stock is luscious and will be available as assorted packs in both 12 x 12 and 8.5 x 11 (new) with the release of the new catalog on July 1.
- I used Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon to "blend" the curry and suede card stock.
- The "happy" sentiment was inked in Soft Suede and stamped on Whisper White. I cropped it with the Large Oval PUnch and adhered it with a couple Stampin' Dimensionals to a Scallop Oval in Bermuda Bay Textured card stock.
