It's time for Mojo Monday #81 and my opportunity to share Julee Tilman's latest sketch challenge. I feel so lucky to get her beautiful designs in advance and be a part of her Mojo Maker team!
Today's card was quite simple. I layered Always Artichoke Textured card stock and Manchester Designer Series paper over a 4.25 x 5.5 card base of Whisper White (scored on the side). A snippet of Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain is a striking contrast to the artichoke.
The stem was inked in Always Artichoke, stamped on Whisper White and matted on Always Artichoke. The Butterfly was inked in Pumpkin Pie, stamped on Whisper White and matted on Pumpkin Pie.
The sentiment is from the Cute and Curly stamp set. TIP: I used a Stampin' Up! Always Artichoke Marker to color just the text portion of the stamp. It was stamped on Whisper White and layered on Pumpkin Pie and a Scallop Circle of that dorable Manchester Designer Paper plaid. A Pumpkin Pie Trio Flower Punch is a sweet accent.
I dusted off my much neglected Metallic Eyelets and set one on the Trio Flower and three per the sketch in the bottom corner. I love the way the copper looks with the Pumpkin Pie on the rest of the card. TIP: A Crop-A-Dile makes setting the eyelets simple and silent!
