Stampin' Up! Scandinavian Snowflakes
It gets even easier from there. Stampin' Up!'s splashy Ski Slope Designer Series paper and Baja Breeze Textured card stock (I adore SU's textured paper) are matted on Old Olive and a Whisper White card base (4.25 x 5.5).
A delicious piece of Chocolate Chip Grosgrain (pronounced "GROW GRAIN") provides a luxurious accent. I point out the pronunciation since until about six months ago, I called it as I saw it . . . ("GROSS GRAIN"). One of the nice things about blogging is that you never get caught mispronouncing anything :) The sentiments are Stampin' Up! Rub-Ons (Season of Cheer--left and Old St. Nick--right).

I heart "Scandinavian Season" too! I haven't had as much time lately to stamp but you can bet tonight I'll be in my stamp room playing with it. Love your card and the LO is just fantastic. I might have to CASE it - thanks! I don't have rub-ons but other sentiments will work nicely too.

I can use the inspiration right now! I ran out of Christmas cards before I was done with my list, so I'm scrambling to put something together this week so everyone can get a card.
This is a perfect layout to put something together quickly. TFS!

What a great use of the snowflake stamp; I never particularly noticed it in the set until seeing your cards. I love both cards; very classy!

Oh my...I would have never thought to put a red brad on a snowflake. That is a great idea.

Okay, here's new word for you "Marynificent!"

These are fabulous cards! I just love how you incorporate the rubons. I have not bought any, used any, or had any desire to. But now after seeing how great they do look on cards I am definately going to have to look at them closer...I love this DP and that stamp set too. Those are definately a must have on my list...I guess I better hurry and get them ordered...not that I will get to use them for this holiday season :)
thanks for sharing..always love seeing your new post!
