As I promised, today's post details the rest of the Big Shot projects and some Stampin' Up!' exclusive dies (available for on-line order Sept. 2) from my previous article (which includes details on the basket at the top). Please leave me a comment at the end of this post with your favorite gift ideas for these cuties!
For the 411 on the Big Shot, click Big Shot Die-Cut 101 (also under Links I Love, for future reference). Need to see more? Don't miss my Big Shot Gallery of samples.
TIP: When adhering these 3-D projects, use something stronger than Snail Adhesive if you want to avoid the dreaded "wardrobe failure." Sticky Strip or anything that offers a good bond is fine.
Pillow Box (3.75" x 2" x 3/4")
Stamp Set: Cute and Curly Stamps (sold as a bundle with the Curly Label Punch)
Paper: Parisian Summer
Ink: Bravo Burgundy
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Bigz Die Pillow Box, Curly Label Punch
The Perfect Touch: Bravo Burgundy 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Designer Buttons
TIP: When you wrap ribbon, have the two ends meet underneath the tag so there are no seams.
BRIGHT IDEA: To create the "thread" for the button, simply cut a very skinny strip of card stock (Pink Pirouette here), slip through and carefully tie. You can flip it the other way (tie on the bottom) if you want a more polished look. You'll always have perfectly coordinated "thread" colors on hand!
